“The legendary bass player, Nate Watts, who has played with Stevie Wonder for 30 some years and is his musical director came over today and laid down some incredible parts on BC-SR Song 1. His childhood buddy, Ray Parker Jr., was over too as well as Sheldon Reynolds….lots of good stories were told today!! Ray and Nate started a band together when they were 6 years old back in Detroit!!! That’s some history right there. It was an absolute pleasure recording with Nate today cause besides being one of the best musicians, he’s one of the coolest guys you’ll ever meet. Check out this video as he lays down the vamp out.
